how it works

Short answers to the questions I get asked most about Jobs Brief.

If these roles aren't on the job boards, where do they come from?

Because I don't take them from job boards. I go straight to the source: the postings companies publish in their own hiring systems. Many never make it to JustJoin, NoFluff or LinkedIn, or arrive late and drown in the noise there. I reach them earlier, verify them live, filter, and pick the good ones by hand.

What's in the email?

A concise selection of roles with a short description, the salary band (when the company publishes one), the role's stack and a link straight to the posting. Plus a Signals section: companies just gearing up to hire, before the posting exists.

Who is it for?

Technical people working in cloud, platform, DevOps, SRE and AI-infra, mostly at senior level (with mid roles labelled separately and a manager track). If you're looking for general backend, frontend or data analytics, I won't be much help.

Where are the roles?

In Poland, or remote and genuinely open to the EU: if you couldn't actually take it from here, it doesn't go in.

What do the [B2B] / [UoP] labels mean?

Polish contract forms on Poland-based roles: B2B (contractor invoicing) or umowa o pracę (a standard employment contract), so readers in Poland can self-filter at a glance. Both are welcome here. If Polish contracts aren't your situation, just ignore the labels.

What does it cost?

Nothing. The newsletter is free.

How often does it arrive?

Every other Friday, in time for your morning coffee. One email, no spam.

Are the roles current?

At send time I check them live in the companies' systems. Hiring closes at its own pace though, so a single role can expire between the send and your click. The link always leads to the original posting, where you can see the current status.

Who's behind this?

Me: Mateusz Jaźwiecki, a senior cloud/Azure architect from Poland. The email goes out from my personal address, so replying reaches me directly, not a no-reply box. Know a role that's missing here? Tell me.

How do I subscribe and unsubscribe?
